Frigidaire FFFR560
This fridge looks like a high-end appliance however, it's not the same. The counter-depth dimensions allow you to get that built-in look for less than a custom refrigerator. It also does an excellent job of hiding the water dispenser and the ice maker behind a fake panel. This makes it look more streamlined than models that show the appliances. However, it suffers from some minor design flaws that hinder it from being as good as it could be.
The main issue with this Frigidaire is that it's counter-depth. This means it loses about 7 cubic feet of usable space to a Gallery fridge in the standard depth measurements. This is a massive loss, especially when you consider that the appliance costs close to $3500.
Despite this, the fridge is still capable of holding stable temperatures in both its freezer and cooling compartments. It also did very well in our spill test by keeping liquids like water kept in check, even on its top shelves.
The Frigidaire is a great option if you're looking for an French-door refrigerator that has an enormous, adjustable drawer that flexes. It has a smudge-proof stainless steel finish, and its left door is smaller than the right which makes it easier to access the controls. Its flex drawer can be set to different temperatures, so you can use it as a freezer, an insulated cooler, or a place for chilled wine or drinks.
This fridge is easy-to-use however, it's not as intuitive as other refrigerators we have tested. It comes with an electronic panel that has a simple design and offers numerous useful features. For instance you can change the door bins from left to right, and there's the option to activate the freezer in turbo mode to get a quick burst of cold. This fridge is also ENERGY-STAR-certified that means you can save on your utility bills. However, it lacks some convenience features, such as a temperature-controlled meat/deli bin and a light in the freezer. Its storage capabilities are only middle of the pack.
